ABOUT US
BORDADO FILIPINO is the premiere destination for custom and off-the-rack Barong Tagalog for Northern California’s Filipino community. Established in 2007, we operated as a small boutique in Fremont, CA, mainly offering men’s formalwear. By 2010, we became a full-service bridal boutique as Wedding & Dreams, that carries a wide variety of wedding dresses, Filipino formalwear, and more.
In 2024, we launched Bordado Filipino, our very own Barong Tagalog line, dedicated to preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines’ formal attire. Our team believes that each Barong Tagalog tells a story of tradition, culture, and pride. Each piece is carefully crafted to ensure that elements of native Filipino styles and tradition are woven into each barong.
With this, we take pride in our partnership with local Filipino artisans from renowned regions such as Lumban, Laguna; Aklan; and Taal, Batangas to ensure that every Barong Tagalog is carefully crafted with precision for our clients. Recognized for their spectacular artistry and craftsmanship in embroidery and weaving, their history and experience shines through every piece.
